33-5 Check Simulator

^ Disconnect Rotunda Air Bag Simulator 105-00009 and measure the resistance across the simulator's terminals.

^ Subtract the reading taken when the Rotunda 73 Digital Multimeter 105-00051 or equivalent leads were shorted (touched) together.

^ Is the result 1.0 ohm +/- 0.2 ohms?

YES -- Check wiring harness for open terminals that would cause open/high resistance across circuits 944C and 939. Service as necessary. Verify the system. Reactivate the system.

NO -- Try another Rotunda Air Bag Simulator 105-00009. Go back to 33-2. 33-2 Check Circuit Resistance
