21-4 Check Safing Sensor Mounting

^ Remove the safing sensor from the vehicle.

^ Clean the safing sensor mounting bracket and vehicle mounting surfaces.

^ Install the safing sensor.

^ Measure the resistance of circuit 951 (GN/Y) between the connector leading to the safing sensor and ground.

^ Is the resistance less than 2 ohms?

YES -- Reconnect the system. Verify the system. Reactivate the system.

NO -- Replace the safing sensor. Reconnect the system. Verify the system. Reactivate the system.
