A5 Check Signal at Control Module Connector

- Key OFF.

- Anti-lock brake control module disconnected.

- Multimeter on AC scale.





- Measure the voltage between the following wires at the anti-lock brake control module connector leading to the brake anti-lock sensor(s) in question while rotating wheel approximately 60 rpm (approximately one wheel turn per second):

Brake Anti-Lock Sensor Wires

Left Front Brake Anti-Lock Sensor "W" and "R"
Right Front Brake Anti-Lock Sensor "Y" and "O"
Left Rear Brake Anti-Lock Sensor "Y/GN" and "Y/BL"
Right Rear Brake Anti-Lock Sensor "GN" and "BL"

- Is the voltage reading between 0.25 and 3.0 volts AC?


YES -- Go to A7. A7 Check Stoplamp Circuit

NO -- Go to A6. A6 Inspect ABS Sensor(s) and Indicator(s)
