Brake Light Switch: Description and Operation

OPERATION
The Brake On/Off (BOO) Switch is monitored by the Anti-Lock Brake Control Module. When the brake pedal is depressed, voltage is applied to the Anti-Lock Brake Control Module though the BOO switch.
