A20 - Check For PIP Short High

^ Key off.

^ Set DVOM to 20 volt DC scale.

^ Disconnect PCM from vehicle harness.

^ Connect DVOM between (+) J33 (PIP PCM S) and (-) J60 (B-).

^ Key on.

^ Is DVOM reading less than 0.5 volts DC?

YES -- GO to A21. A21 - Check PIP P For Short to Ground

NO -- Check connectors, service or replace harness. PIP is shorted high. Remove all test equipment. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Rerun quick test.
