Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove ignition coil cover and disconnect wiring connector.
3. Remove ignition wires by squeezing locking tabs to release ignition coil boot retainers.
4. Remove ignition coil retaining screws and remove ignition coil pack.


INSTALLATION

1. Install coil pack and retaining screws.
2. Connect ignition wires to proper ignition coil terminals. Connect electrical connector to coil pack.
3. Install ignition coil cover.
4. Connect battery ground cable.
