Throttle Position Sensor: Adjustments

1. Use breakout box adapter T92C-6000-AH to connect Rotunda breakout box 014-00322 to the Powertrain Control Module.

NOTE: Measure voltage between breakout box pin 47 and ground

2. Turn ignition "On".

3. Rotate throttle linkage by hand and observe the voltage readings.

4. With throttle fully closed, it should measure 0.1 - 1.1 Volts.

5. With throttle fully open, it should measure 3.1 - 4.4 Volts.

6. If voltage is not within specification, adjust as follows:

a. Loosen sensor bolts.

b. With throttle fully closed, rotate sensor until voltage is 0.1 - 1.1 Volts.

c. With throttle fully open, verify that voltage is 3.1 - 4.4 Volts.

d. Tighten bolts to 2 Nm (14 - 20 in lb).
