Check VRIS Solenoid Valves:

^ Disconnect the solenoid valve vacuum and electrical lines.

^ Verify air flow between ports.

A-C No

B-C Yes

^ Apply battery voltage and ground to the terminals of the VRIS solenoid.

^ Verify air flow between ports.

A-B Yes

A-C No

B-C No

^ Do solenoid valves function properly?

YES -- Go to IA10. IA10 - Check One-Way Check Valve

NO -- Replace the VRIS solenoid valve in question.
