Fog/Driving Lamp: Description and Operation

Voltage is present at the coil and contacts of the Headlamp Relay at all times through the "HEAD" Fuse. With the Main Light Switch in the "HEAD" position, the Headlamp Relay Coil is grounded and its contacts close. With the Dimmer Switch in the "LOW BEAM" position and the Fog Lamp Switch turned "ON", current flows through the "HEAD" Fuse, Fog Lamp Relay contacts, and the Fog Lamps to ground. The Fog Lamps turn on. If the Dimmer Switch is moved to the "HI BEAM" position or the Main Light Switch is moved to the "OFF" or "PARK" position, the Fog Lamps will shut off.
