IGNB4 - Check For IDM Open In Harness

^ Disconnect PCM.

^ Measure resistance between Pin 23 (IDM) diagnostic cable and Pin 4 of the PCM connector.

^ Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?


YES -- Replace Ignition Control Module. Remove all test equipment. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Rerun quick test.


NO -- Service IDM open in harness between Ignition Control Module and PCM connector. Remove all test equipment. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Rerun quick test.
