IA1 - Check Air Cleaner Housing and Element Condition

CAUTION: Do not use compressed air to clean the air cleaner element.

^ Inspect the air cleaner housing, inlet air hoses and connecting components for damage. blockage, looseness, or missing fasteners.

^ Inspect air cleaner element for dirt.

^ Are the air cleaner housing and element free of damage and dirt blockage?

YES -- Go to IA2. IA2 - Check Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor

NO -- Replace the component in question.
