Courtesy Lamp: Description and Operation

Voltage is applied, at all times, through Fuse 8 to the Instrument Panel Dimming Rheostat, Courtesy Lamp Switches and other switches for individual lamps.

If the Instrument Panel Dimming Rheostat knob is turned fully ON, or if a Courtesy Lamp Switch is closed, current flows through the Dome Lamp.
