F2 - Check For Greater Than 16 Degrees BTDC Timing at Idle

^ Key off.

^ Reinstall SPOUT harness jumper to SPOUT vehicle harness connector.

^ Engine at idle rpm.

^ Check timing.

^ Is timing greater than 16 degrees BTDC?


YES -- Ignition system is OK.


NO -- Go to F3. F3 - Check For Spout Short Low - Spout Fault
