D17 - Check C3 At Coil Pack - KOEC - Coils Disconnected

^ Key off.

^ Disconnect left and right coils.

^ Connect positive lead of diagnostic cable to battery.

^ Connect left coil tee to vehicle harness (the word "COIL" is printed in yellow letters). Do not connect left coil to tee.

^ Connect incandescent test lamp between J57 (B+) and J30 (LC3C).

^ Crank engine.

^ Does test lamp blink during crank?


YES -- Go to D18. D18 - Check C4 At Coil Pack - KOEC - Coils Disconnected


NO -- Replace ICM. C3 open. Remove all test equipment. Reconnect all components. Clear continuous memory. Rerun quick test.
