B12 - Check DPI At Module - DPI High Fault or IDM Low Fault

^ Key off.

^ Install ICM tee to Pins 1-6 side of ICM.

^ Connect EI diagnostic harness to EEC breakout box.

^ Use 2.3L DP EI (Low Data Rate) overlay.

^ Connect EI diagnostic harness negative lead to battery.

^ Set DVOM to 20 volt DC range.

^ Start engine.

^ Measure voltage between (+)J54 (DPI I) and (-)J60 (B-).

^ Is voltage less than 1.0 volts DC?


YES -- Go to B15. B15 - Check IDM At DIS Module - IDM Low Fault - KOER


NO -- Go to B13. B13 - Check DPI - DPI High Fault - DIS Module Disconnected
