Cooling System: Service and Repair

1. Check all hose clamps for proper tightness.
2. Place heater temperature selector in maximum position.
3. Disconnect heater hose at thermostat housing.
4. Fill radiator until coolant is visible at thermostat housing or radiator cap filler neck seat.
5. Connect heater and torque clamp to 12-18 inch. lbs.
6. Fill radiator to below radiator neck seat.
7. Leave radiator cap off and run engine until thermostat opens.
8. Stop engine and add coolant to radiator as necessary to adjust level.
