Component Tests and General Diagnostics

1. Pull the belt out of the retractor to check for smooth operation.
2. Place each retractor in a vertical position.
3. While pulling the seat belt out of the retractor, slowly tilt the retractor.






4. Verify the retractor locks within 30 degrees of vertical.
