DRIVER SIDE INBOARD SEAT TRACK REPLACEMENT


TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS

REMOVAL

1. Slide the front seat rearward.

2. Remove the two front seat track mounting bolts.

3. Slide the front seat forward.

4. Remove the screws securing the covers on the rear of the seat track. Remove the covers.

5. Remove the seat track rear mounting bolts.

6. Disconnect the seat belt electrical connector located under the seat.

7. Remove the seat from the car.

8. Place the seat on a clean work surface.

9. Remove the two bolts securing the inboard seat track assembly to the seat cushion.

10. Remove the seat adjuster wire from the seat track.

11. Remove and discard the seat track assembly.

INSTALLATION

1. Position the new seat track assembly to the seat cushion.

2. Install the two seat track to cushion attaching bolts. Tighten the bolts to 12-20 lb.ft. (16-27 N-m).

3. Synchronize the seat adjusters before installing the seat assembly into the car by placing both seat tracks in the forward most positions and installing the seat adjuster wire to the seat track.

4. Install the seat assembly into the car.

5. Reconnect the seat belt electrical connector.

6. Install the two rear seat track mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts to 28-38 lb.ft. (38-51 N-m).

7. Position the covers on the rear of the seat tracks and secure with the attaching screws.

8. Slide the seat rearward and install the two front seat track mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts to 28-38 lb.ft. (38-51 N-m).
