Key Cylinder Lamp: Description and Operation

Voltage is applied at all times to the Door Key Cylinder Lamps, Foot Lamps, and Buckle Illumination from the ROOM and POWER SEAT fuses.

The Ignition Key Cylinder Lamp, Door Key Cylinder Lamps, Foot Lamps, and Buckle Illumination are activated by lifting either door handle, consequently closing the Door Handle Switch. With either Door Handle Switch closed, the timing circuit of the Central Processing Unit (CPU) is activated and a ground is supplied to the associated lamp through the CPU for approximately 30 seconds.
