Cigarette Lighter: Description and Operation

With the Ignition Switch in the ACCY or RUN position, current flows through the CIGAR fuse to the Cigar Lighter. Pushing the Cigar Lighter in closes the switch and supplies current to the heating element. As the element gets hot, it expands and opens the switch.
