AM/FM Stereo


With the Ignition Switch in the ACCY or RUN position, power flows from the RADIO, ROOM and AUDIO (Premium Sound only) fuses to the Radio and Premium Sound Amplifiers. The memory and clock of the Radio receive power at all times from the ROOM fuse.

All Radio options consist of two door speakers and two rear speakers. The standard sound system consists of an Electronic AM/FM Stereo Radio/Clock with four speakers.

There are two options available, the first consists of an AM/FM Electronic Cassette with Premium Sound/Power Antenna. Also included is a Main Amplifier, which directs its signals to speakers, receiving its power from the AUDIO fuse.

The second option consists of an AM/FM Electronic Cassette with Premium Sound/Digital Disc/Power Antenna. When the Digital Audio Disc Player is added, the Range Amplifier. A Sup-Woofer speaker, powered by the Sub-Woofer Amplifier, is added to the four standard speakers. The Low Pass Amplifier is powered by the Audio fuse and is activated by a triggering voltage from the Radio.
