With Analog Voltmeter

NOTE: Test all switches individually. Leaving a switch ON while testing another will lead to a false test result.
1. Turn engine OFF, and allow to cool.
2. Turn all accessories OFF.
3. Place transmission in PARK (A/T) or NEUTRAL (M/T).
4. Turn ignition key ON.

Diagnostic Connector (STO/STI):

5. Jumper STI of diagnostic connector to ground, connect analog voltmeter positive (+) lead to SML of diagnostic connector and negative (-) lead to engine ground.
6. Exercise all switches listed in Switch Monitor Test Chart.
