With Check Engine Light

1. START engine and bring up to operating temperature.

IF ENGINE WILL NOT START, see No Start Symptom Test.

2. Turn the key OFF, wait ten seconds.

3. Turn ignition key ON.

4. Record any codes as they flash out.

5. Turn ignition key OFF.

IF NO CODES ARE STORED AND ENGINE STARTS, see Key On Engine Running (KOER) Self Test.

IF ANY CODES ARE RECEIVED, see Erase and Retest.

IF NO CODES ARE RECEIVED AND ENGINE DOES NOT START, see No Start Symptom Test.
