Vane Air Temperature (VAT) Sensor:

The Vane Air Temperature (VAT) sensor is an integral part of the Vane Air Flow meter (VAF). The VAT sensor measures inlet air temperature and provides an input signal to the Electronic Control Assembly (ECA). This signal input compensates air/fuel ratio, and idle speed.
