Overboost Warning System:

Vane Airflow Measuring Plate:

1. START the engine and run at 2,000 rpm.
2. Remove the air filter upper housing. Push the measuring plate of the vane airflow meter to the fully open position.
3. Check that the warning buzzer sounds and the engine speed drops or the engine stalls. If buzzer does not sound refer to COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS/DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING PROCEDURES for diagnostic procedures.
4. Turn OFF the engine and replace the air filter upper housing.
