WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH/INTERVAL WIPER MODULE

The wiper switch and interval wiper module (if equipped) are mounted on the steering column as part of the combination switch assembly.
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove combination switch as outlined previously.
3. Remove wiper switch/interval wiper module attaching screws, then disengage switch from combination switch, Fig. 9.
4. Using a thin screwdriver, disengage switch handle lock tab and pull handle from switch assembly.
5. Remove plunger, spring and O-ring from handle.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

REAR WIPER

Fig. 8 Rear Wiper Motor Replacement:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. On models equipped with tilt steering column, release tilt lock, then lower steering column to seat. On models equipped with conventional steering column, remove upper and lower steering column trim covers.
3. On all models, remove cluster bezel attaching screws and pull bezel away from cluster.
4. Depress switch lock tabs, then disconnect electrical connector and remove switch from bezel, Fig. 8.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
