Removal and Installation

Fig. 17 Power Steering Pump Installation:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove righthand inner fender splash shield.
3. Remove drive belt.
4. Disconnect power steering pressure and return hoses from pump.
5. Remove three power steering pump mounting bolts and the pump, Fig. 17.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Tightening to specifications.
