ISSUE:
The Probe Alternator on 2.2L engines was revised in the 1990 model year. This necessitates revisions to Alternator Diagnosis and Repair procedures shown in the 1990, 1991 and 1992 Probe Shop Manuals. The following Sections are affected on the pages indicated:

^ 1990 Probe Shop Manual: Section 31-01, Pages 1 through 9
^ 1990 Probe Shop Manual: Section 31-15, Pages 1, 2 and 5 through 14
^ 1991 Probe Shop Manual: Section 14-00, Pages 2 through 10
^ 1991 Probe Shop Manual: Section 14-02A, Pages 1 through 9, 11 and 12
^ 1992 Probe Service Manual: Section 14-02A, Pages 1 through 8, 10, and 12 through 17
