ISSUE:
The 25 amp Main Fusible Link may blow due to battery charging rates higher than the fuse link amperage.

ACTION:
Replace the 25 amp Fusible Link with new 35 amp Fusible Link. Refer to the following procedure for service details.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Inspect the 25 amp Main Fusible Link (red color) located in the engine compartment on the front of the left strut tower.

2. If the Fusible Link is blown, replace the 25 amp main Fusible Link (red color) with a new 35 amp Main Fusible Link (black color) contained in Kit (F2BZ-14526-A).





3. Attach the protector (corrugated tube), also contained in Kit (F2BZ-14526-A), to the wiring harness going to the ignition coil as shown in Figure 1.
