Fuel Pump Relay: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Pull back on the front edges on the center carpet panel, disengaging three push pin retainers.
3. Remove the attaching screw and carpet panel.
4. Disconnect the relay electrical connector.
5. Remove the relay retaining bolt and the relay.

INSTALLATION

Fuel Pump Relay:

1. Install the relay with the retaining bolt.
2. Connect the relay connector.
3. Install the center carpet panel, with the center attaching screw, and secure it with two push pins.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
