Fuel Injector Harness

REMOVAL

NOTE: Relieve fuel pressure prior to servicing by cranking the engine for a minimum of 15 seconds with the electrical connector at the Inertia Switch disconnected, or by using a fuel pressure gauge.

1. Disconnect electrical connectors from four fuel injectors.
2. Disconnect electrical connector from main wiring harness.
3. Remove wiring assembly.

INSTALLATION

Fuel Injection Wiring Harness:

1. Position wiring harness along side the fuel injectors.
2. Snap electrical connectors into position on four injectors.
3. Connect main haness connector.
4. Verify that all electrical connectors are firmly seated.
5. Use EEC self test connector check for sensor function.
