EXHIBIT I - EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM MODIFICATIONS - EMISSION RECALL 87E60:

1. Refer to Exhibit I

^ Inspect for the presence of a "blue" color-coded connector in the vacuum hose near the evaporative control system purge regulator valve.

EXHIBIT II - AUTHORIZED MODIFICATIONS DECAL PREPARATION - EMISSION RECALL 87E60:

2. If the connector is "blue", the vehicle does not require modification.

Refer to Exhibit II, Figure 1.

Prepare an Authorized Modification decal Form (FPS-8262) as shown. Decals and clear overlay are available on dealer Weekly Stock Order pads at no-charge as Form (FPS-8262).
^ If there is no "blue" connector in the hose, go on to Steps 3, 4 and 5.

3. Cut the hose between the connector and the purge regulator valve.

4. Install a "blue" color-coded restrictor (Part Number D8TZ-9K319-A) in the hose.
