NOTE: With YFA-1V Carburetor.

Instructions:
1. Place transmission in NEUTRAL or PARK.
2. Bring engine to normal operating temperature.
3. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
4. Put A/C-Heat selector in the OFF position.
5. Disconnect vacuum hose at the EGR valve and plug, (A/T only).
6. Disconnect and plug purge vacuum hose.

YFA~1V Non-FB Fast Idle:

7. Place the FAST IDLE ADJUSTING SCREW on the specified step of the FAST IDLE CAM.
8. Start engine without touching the accelerator pedal: Check/adjust fast idle Revolutions Per Minute (RPM) to specification.
9. Rev the engine momentarily, allowing engine to return to IDLE and turn ignition key to OFF position.
10. Remove plug from the EGR vacuum hose and reconnect.
11. Reconnect purge vacuum hose.
