CLAIM SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Repairs performed under Owner Notification Program B38 must be submitted on warranty claim Form 1863. Indicate the information shown below on the Form 1863 for the fastener modification. Program Number B38 must be entered in the Program Code box in the upper left of the claim form.

For convertible top replacement claiming information, refer to subjects 1.0 page 6, and 9.3 page 19 of the Warranty and Policy Manual. Such replacements are to be charged to Program B38 and are to be included on the Form 1863.

Instructions for this program should be filed in Section 13.0 of your Warranty and Policy Manual.

PROGRAM EXPIRATION

This notification program will remain in effect only during the basic vehicle warranty period.

NOTIFICATION

Vehicle owners are being advised of Owner Notification Program B38 by separate letter (Attachment II).

IF AN INVOLVED VEHICLE HAS BEEN DELIVERED TO AN OWNER WHOSE NAME AND ADDRESS DOES NOT APPEAR ON YOUR LISTING, PLEASE MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE OWNER TO RETURN THE VEHICLE FOR THIS SERVICE. ALSO CAUTION OWNERS THAT THE CONVERTIBLE TOP SHOULD NOT BE LOWERED UNTIL THIS SERVICE HAS BEEN PERFORMED ON THEIR VEHICLES.
