Case 1 Invalid code timer has expired (100 milliseconds).
Case 2 Third occurrence of setting PRND2L date error flag since start-up.

Probable cause
- Malfunction of transaxle range switch
- Malfunction of park neutral position switch
- Malfunction of backup light relay
- Harness or connector between transaxle range switch and TCM open or short-circuited
- Harness or connector between park/neutral position on switch and TCM open or short-circuited
- Park/Neutral position switch supply line open-circuited
- Transaxle range switch ground open-circuited
- Malfunction of TCM
