6. Removal Of Fuel Filler Door Safety Stopper Assembly
1. Loosen the lower rail mounting screws and bolts.
2. Remove the nuts shown in the illustration, and remove the fuel filler door safety stopper assembly from the lower rail.

SERVICE POINTS OF INSTALLATION

6. Installation Of Fuel Filler Door Safety Stopper Assembly
Install the fuel filler door safety stopper assembly so that the plate shown in the illustration follows the line of the lower rail.

4. 12. Installation Of Fuel Filler Door Lock Release Cable
The installation of the release cable differs on the fuel filler door safety lever assembly side and the fuel filler door safety stopper assembly side, so install as shown in the illustrations.

Carry out an operation inspection after installing, and if the fuel filler door does not open, adjust by changing the installation position (groove) of the release cable on the door safety stopper assembly side.
