Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

1. Ensure choke lever is away from cam follower.





2. Raise throttle cable cover (B) upward, then loosen cable lower mounting bracket bolt, Fig.4.
3. Move cable lower mounting bracket until clearance between nipple and top of cable cover (A) is 0.02-0.06 inch, then torque cable lower mounting bracket bolt to 9.4 ft. lbs.
4. With throttle lever in wide open position, pull throttle cable upward to ensure cable has freedom of movement.
