1. Headlights don't come on.
a. But the tail lights do illuminate.
- Check the headlight relay.
- Check the lighting switch.
b. The tail lights also don't illuminate.
- Check the fusible link No. 3.
2. The low beam at both sides doesn't illuminate.
- Check the "LO" contacts of the dimmer switch.
3. The upper beam at both sides doesn't illuminate.
a. The passing signal functions OK.
- Check the "HI" contacts of the dimmer switch.
b. The passing signal doesn't function.
- Check the dimmer switch.
4. One headlight doesn't illuminate.
- Check the bulb.
5. Can't switch from low to high beam or vice-versa.
- Check the dimmer switch.
6. With the ignition switch at the "ON" position, the headlights upper beam does not illuminate.
- Check the daytime running light control unit.
7. The high beam indicator light doesn't illuminate.
a. The high beam of the headlights is normal.
- Check dedicated fuse No. 4.
- Check the bulb.
