Use an ohmmeter to measure the resistance value between the terminals.
Standard value:
Power supply-Ground: 210.6 - 257.4 Ohm
Power supply -Engine coolant temperature gauge: 71.3 - 78.8 Ohm
Engine coolant temperature gauge-Ground: 278.1 - 340.0 Ohm
