Clearing Trouble Codes

WITH SCAN TOOL
Connect scan tool to the Diagnostic Link Connector (DLC) located under the lefthand side of the instrument panel and follow scan tool instructions to erase trouble codes.

LESS SCAN TOOL

Fig 2 ABS Component Locations (Part 1 Of 2):

1. Connect two terminals of the diagnostic trouble code erasure connector, located under center of instrument panel.
2. Turn ignition key to the ON position, at this time valve relay will turn off and ABS warning lamp should come on.
3. After seven seconds or more has passed, turn ignition key off.
4. Disconnect diagnostic trouble code erasure connectors two terminals and turn ignition key on.
5. At this point one trouble code has been erased, repeat steps 1-4 if there are multiple fault diagnostic trouble codes to be erased.
