Adjustment
FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENTNOTE: On vehicles with aluminum wheels, attach camber/caster to driveshaft using tool No. MB991004, or equivalent.
CASTER
Caster is preset during production and is not adjustable. If caster is out of specifications, replace bent, worn or otherwise damaged parts.
CAMBER
Specified camber is built into steering knuckle, which is part of strut assembly. No adjustment is possible.
TOE-IN
Adjust toe-in by removing left and right tie rod turnbuckle retaining clips, then turning left and right turnbuckles same amount in opposite directions. To reduce toe-in, turn left turnbuckle toward front of vehicle and right turnbuckle toward rear of vehicle. For each half turn of turnbuckle, toe-in will be adjusted by approximately 0.24 inch.
