Air Cleaner Housing: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The air cleaner keeps harmful dirt and debris from entering the engine. The air cleaner filter is a replaceable paper element in a remote canister.

LOCATION
The canister's main body is attached to the right fenderwell. The clip-on lid is attached to the intake manifold surge tank via a flexible hose coupling.
