Power Trunk / Liftgate Lock Actuator: Testing and Inspection

LIFTGATE LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION
Connect the battery source directly to the actuator terminals, and check the actuator plunger for operation. If the plunger moves in opposite direction when the connection polarity is changed, the plunger should be considered to be in normal condition.
