Replace the oil pan & oil pump in numbered sequence shown, noting the following:
1. To remove the oil pan, knock tool MD998727 or its equivalent deep between the oil pan and engine block. Dislodge the pan from the block by moving the tool along the pan lip.
2. Make alignment marks on the inner and outer rotors for reassembly.
