Inspection Step 10
Description
A downshift or upshift during operation causes shock. In addition, the transmission speed exceeds the engine speed. In this case, an abnormal reducing pressure or a defective kickdown servo switch, etc. are suspected.
Probable Cause of Trouble
- Faulty kickdown servo switch
- Abnormal reducing pressure
- Defective valve body
- Defective closed throttle position switch
- Defective pressure control solenoid valve
- Defective clutches and/or brakes
