Under the battery

PURPOSE
Opens the port to the canister for purging according to the solenoid operation.

CONSTRUCTION
The purge control valve is a dual chamber vacuum/boost operated switch.

OPERATION
The valve opens the passage when vacuum is applied to the lower chamber or boost pressure is applied to the upper chamber.
