Fuel Filler Cap: Testing and Inspection

Fuel Filler Cap Operation:

The fuel filler cap should vent internal pressure at or under 1.5 psi to maintain tank structural integrity. The cap is also required to allow outside air to enter when a vacuum exists in the fuel tank.
