Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

Prior to disconnecting fuel hoses, fuel system pressure must be relieved.


1. Disconnect fuel pump electrical connector.
2. Start engine and allow to operate until engine stops.
3. Turn ignition switch OFF, disconnect battery ground cable, then reconnect fuel pump electrical connector.
