Without Cruise Control

Accelerator Cable Adjustment Bolts:

1. Turn the ignition on (without starting the engine) for approx. 15 seconds minimum.
2. Loosen the adjusting bolts.
3. Adjust the accelerator cable free play.

Clearance:
Manual transmission 0.04-0.08 in (1-2 mm)
3 speed Auto transmission 0.04-0.08 in (1-2 mm)
4 speed Auto transmission 0.12-0.20 in (3-5 mm)

4. Tighten the adjusting bolts.
5. Confirm that the throttle valve fully opens and closes by operating the accelerator pedal.

Accelerator Cable, Throttle Body End:

6. Confirm that the throttle lever stopper touches the idle position switch.
