Rear Door Window Regulator

DOOR GLASS AND REGULATOR REMOVAL STEPS

STATIONARY WINDOW GLASS REMOVAL STEPS

NOTES:
1. Reverse the removal procedures to reinstall
2. Arrows show the installation position of trim clip.

SERVICE POINTS OF REMOVAL
1. Removal Of Door Trim And Waterproof Film
Refer to Door Panel/Service and Repair.





2. Removal Of Door Window Glass
1. Lower the door glass to the access hole position.
2. Loosen the rear door center sash attaching screws.





3. Remove the glass installation screws, from the rear window regulator assembly.

NOTE: When removing the glass mounting screws, Support the glass to avoid dropping it.





4. Remove the rear door window glass by pulling it upward.

4. Removal Of Rear Window Regulator Assembly





1. Remove the regulator installation bolt, and then remove the regulator from the access hole in the door panel.
2. For models equipped with power windows, remove the power window motor from the rear window regulator.

5. Removal Of Rear Door Center Sash





1. Remove the portion of the door outer opening weatherstrip which is shown in the illustration and remove the rear door center sash mounting screw.





2. Remove the screws of the door panel which are shown In the illustration to remove the rear door center sash.





6. Removal Of Stationary Window Weatherstrip And 7. Stationary Window Glass
Remove the stationary window glass with the stationary window weatherstrip attached, by pulling toward the front of the vehicle.

SERVICE POINTS OF INSTALLATION





4. Installation Of Rear Window Regulator Assembly
1. Apply a coating of multipurpose grease to the rear window regulator.

Grease: MOPAR Multipurpose Grease Part No. 2932524 or equivalent

2. Tighten the front window regulator in the sequence shown in the illustration.





2. Installation Of Door Window Glass
Tighten the door window glass in the sequence shown in the illustration.





DOOR WINDOW GLASS ADJUSTMENT
Normally the door window glass does not need to be adjusted. If there is anything wrong, adjust by the following procedure.

1. Remove the window regulator assembly mounting bolts and modify the mounting holes into long holes.
2. Temporarily mount the bolts, move the upper installation back and forth and adjust the tilted angle of the glass.
